1 - a) Why is working on the automaton important to Hugo and his father? Because it gives them time to bond and do something together.
b)Why is it important to Hugo after his father dies? Its important to hugo to finish the automaton because its all he has left of his father and he thinks it will write him a message.
2 -a) Why is the notebook significant to both Georges and Hugo? Its important to George because the automaton originally belonged to George and Hugo had drawn a whole butch of pictures of it and when he saw the notebook it brought back alot of memorys.
